I had a shipping problem with my order. After contacting customer service, I immediately received a response from the Logistics Manager. He told me he would check on the problem and he did! I know I shouldn't be surprised by good customer service but in this day and age, it has become somewhat rare. My order had been sent to a differerent address and had been sent back and forth to different FedEx facilities. He tracked everything down and after a few days, I received my product. He kept me informed and sent updates multiple times throughout the day. He was a lifesaver and wish I had a guy like him to handle all of my issues! I ordered carpet tiles and was super surprised and happy about the look and quality of the product! I was only carpeting a couple of closet areas but the closet under our stairs is like a small room. It took a little trial and error to have virtually no seaming and I highly recommend patience but it was relatively simple and a little fun to do. The padding on the tiles wasn't what you would expect from laying down traditional carpet but it was better then I expected. I would use this product again! So simple to do, even a girl can do it! I do recommend veiwing YouTube videos just to get an idea of what is involved if you are unfamiliar with carpet tiles. Helpful! The web site was fairly simple to follow and order from. I may have driven to pick up the product from the nearest warehouse had I known I had that choice while placing the order. Maybe I missed that option. The shipping error was a hassle but the customer service was great! I was fortunate that I didn't have a timeline in which to complete the project. It would have been a little more upsetting if I had been working under a time rstraint!

I was very happy with my carpet tiles, I have installed 3/4 of them, it was tougher than I thought it would be. My basement wall and floor did not line up perfectly square so it was tough to get the carpet tiles perfectly square. For the most part they look really good and they feel great! Hopefully they shed less after a few more vacuums.

Took a few days to ship, but everything was packaged and arrived in good shape. Good quality product, Hard to reposition after weight is applied to carpet tile, but thats the name of the game.

Thank you for the confirmation call to schedule drop off - much better customer service than an email or electronic scheduling application. The carpet tile padding was a bit thinner than expected, but the adhesive works well, and the carpeting looks great installed. Lift gate service was excellent; driver was friendly and efficient.

A few of the tiles had white areas showing with no carpet fibers. I have not completed the installation yet but it appears that I may be able to use the tiles on the edges where I need to cut the tiles.

I had to call 2x and everyone was helpful each time carpet is great! took awhile and I had to call 2x to see where my order was!! I ordered samples they took 1 1/2 months to get to me then I only got half of them! The gentleman who I ordered them from was very nice though, but I wouldn't recommend anyone ordering samples.

The carpet tiles were a very affordable "do it yourself" solution to freshening up the tired old carpeting in our family room. Installation was fast and easy and the results were very good. Although not invisible, the seams are tight and I expect it will prove to be a very worthwhile investment. Thanks!

we had to email several times to get a sample delivered. we were told the sample was shipped and waited, and waited, it never came. this took at least two times before it finally got resolved. love this product! it looks fantastic and was easy to work with! very happy with the overall sale! the website is well designed with a lot of info!

The carpet had a different name, so I was confused. a rep looked into it and assured me it was right. I was very pleased with the color and the quality. the rep gave me a better deal on the shipping by having me unload it. Little did I know, the delivery truck wouldn't even come down my driveway, so I had to drive up to get it. Outside of that, I was satisfied. Overall the experience was a good one, I would recommend BuildDirect to my friends and family.

We placed our order online and we had no problems with the website. It was very informative and easy to use. We just got the carpet installed this week. In fact, I just got done vaccumming it! It looks beautiful in our office and it looks like it will hold up well. I think I'll be using the vaccuum much more often now! We couldn't believe how fast our order arrived. It was packed well and arrived in great condition. Everything went well and we were very pleased with our purchase. Great job...we really weren't sure about getting carpet tiles as we had no experience with them but we are very happy with them. And the best part is that we can pull one up and replace it if it gets damaged or dirty. That's a good thing.

my rep was very helpful with all aspects of our purchase. He took a personal interest in our purchase and answered all our questions. Due to some travel on our part, he even delayed delivery of our shipment to meet our timeline. We were a little worried about the "seamless" aspect and the "sticky back's" ability to adhere. Both have been perfect. Boxes arrived in good condition and were delivered to our front door. This carpet has been installed in our 5th wheel travel trailer. The carpet is trully seamless and the movement of the slides across it when set up has not been a problem with the sticky back or seams. There were precise cuts that had to be made around wood flooring, slides and other unusual points common to a trailer. Cutting was easy with a very sharp box cutter. This product exceeded our expections and we are very pleased.

We got the samples quickly and that really helped us make our decision. It looks nice just out of the box. We're getting some work done on our air conditioner right now so we haven't started installation yet. The guy who delivered the product did more than he was required. Great guy. The quality of the product was excellent, very nice The product arrived much sooner than expected which worked out quite nice, the carpet squares went down with ease, the arrow on the back made a huge difference. very accomodating My challenge was to put carpeting in my basement. Unfortunately I had so many things to move in order to have professional carpet layers come in an do my floors. .......I was able to move these things to one side of the room while I worked on my floors myself and in my own time after work. In 2 days my room was transformed. I have to say it was pretty easy too! Thanks! Oh and I did find a similar product at a local home improvement store. It was significantly more money and a lower quality than your least expensive line. My kids (and I) love our new "man cave".
