Unfortunately, this decking has been a huge disappointment. The sample pieces I received ahead of time made me decide to go with this product. It seemed structurally sound, looked great and I was really happy to have found something that I thought was better than local subs had to offer. But full-length pieces are far from sturdy. I had to put a large amount of additional bracing into my deck to combat flex. This decking gets very soft in the summer heat and will mar easily. The edges of the decking that are on steps have had to all be routed off because the top half of the groove started to break under normal wear and tear almost immediately after installation. Now that Fall is setting in and temps are cooler I'm surprised at how much this decking in contracting. The space between the ends of planks as well as the seams between the long sides are getting noticeably wider. I am pretty sure that this decking will need to be replaced in only a few short years - if it makes it that long. Nothing against Build Direct...but this particular product is just really sub-par in my opinion.

When we got the deck home, we found out that the we had three different sized boards Even in the same bundle of 3 they could be different.

Product appearred to be a consolidation of mixed batches with three different material mixes, one of which appeared to have been a left over resurrected from a pile that wintered out in the weather. The mixed order does not have the consistency I would expect in the product. Also, the edges are not consistent in shape or depth.
