Customer Service was helpful and prompt on most occassions. Product seems to be good but missing elements of the system. Like stair treads or finished ends or material for vertical surfaces.Shipping was slow to post status and tracking information was updated after I was contacted by the delivery company on two occassions. Pricing when adding in the delivery was higher than local suppliers and sales staff really didn't negociate well. Owner was happy with the product and may have sold another job for the both of us. However, I did eat the added expense of going to 12" to meet local codes due to you not having engineering reports for your product.

my rep was eager to provide assistance in configuring and ordering. Mahogany composite decking was not as attractive as the sample sent. Color was the same, but the samle had many more tan/yellow specks than the received order. Acceptable and still attractive, but one of the reasons why we went with the mahogany was for those colored specs that maid the material very unique. 2 Shipments received - 1, their scheduling person was not accomodating but when the driver arrived, he was most helpful and accommodating. No other issues.

There were 11 deck boards that had strap damage, but other than that, quality was excellent. Product shipped on two 16' pallets. Couldn't unload same from truck as local forklift was too light. ABF was nice enough to leave trailer at the job site. I hired two youths to unload for me.

Customer service was generally prompt and attentive. Thank you. the rep who sold me the first order-Yakima composite decking and rails. He was outstanding! After he left, I felt I had to chase the sales rep a bit to place my order but eventually we got the second order in. The online ordering is very efficient and the site is very user-friendly. I like being able to receive the samples. Thank you. Composite boards, clips, rails --OUTSTANDING!!! L-Channel No!!! The rating would have been excellent were it not for the L-Channel.

I had multiple problems with my order. However, all of my concerns were eventually addressed and I was very happy with the quality of service I received. Would have been excellent if the damage that was incurred becasue of item 2 above was eliminated with better packaging. There is not enough done to protect the bare wood products like posts and rail tops. Much of this material had band marks and water staining that caused alot of sanding and cleaning on my part.my customer service rep was excellent to deal with and he worked with me through all of my quality issues with the products. My deck looks great and I have received numerous compliments on the appearance of my deck rails.

Sales support was extremely good. Shipping information had to be requested, and then took 24hours to get an answer. Product is excellent. Shipping seemed expensive for the size of the order and the distance travelled.

The quality of the railings was excellent. I'm building in the Caribbean, so the quality is especially important. They were very easy to assemble, it is a truly DIY product. I got the tudor color (something different from the regular white) which was very nice, finishing was very good. Customer Service was always there to help which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this product to others.

It is a well designed system and looks great when all assembled. The stair railing could use some improvement. So many decking and railings websites offer good products but then say to contact your local dealer and we never have one so being able to call and order directly from BuildDirect is a great service to me. The Lang railing system is well designed and looks great when all put together.

There was a problem with one box of deck railings, and we didn't notice when we unloaded the truck...build direct made everything right. They stand behing their products. This was our second order from Build direct, we purchased Longevity vinyl deck railing for three different homes, the quality was better than our Lowe's store carried and the price was less even with shipping cost. I'm very impressed with the service we received from your customer service department. They reviewed our plans for the glass railing on our deck and made a few suggestions to ensure we would be pleased with the product. The cedar decking, glass railing and cedar siding all arrived on time and as expected. The quality of the product was A+. We ended up with very little "unusable" wood.
