No problems with customer service. Very pleased with the engineered wood and the baseboards. I debated between laminate and engineered wood for quite awhile. So glad I went with this engineered wood.Shipping- First, the tracking was unavailable. I contacted the delivery company who told me it would be delivered on a Thursday, but that we would receive a call the day before. The delivery came on Wednesday with no call. Luckily my husband and son were at home, but they ended up being late to an appointment because of having to assist the delivery driver. He could not operate the lift to lower the boxes to the street, so my husband and son had to get in the truck and lift the boxes out. We have a large driveway and the driver would not drive on to the driveway, so my husband and son had to not only lift the boxes from the truck, but also carry the boxes to the garage.

Except for Pre-primed baseboard which we were not satisfied with the design. According to BuildDirect's 30-day full money back guarantee (including paid-shipping). However, I was charged with shipping for returning the products that I am not satisfied. Delivery was on time but shipping company came with a truck with no liftgate. So, we had to refuse the first delivery. Second delivery came with same truck with no liftgate. At that time because of time constraint, we had to pay someone to bring down the products from the truck. Shipping is very important part of online business. If you improve shipping service, then BuildDirect would be the best. Your shipping service for the sample floors was very fast and impressive. Your best advantage over the other online flooring company. I requested samples from other online flooring company which takes 2-3 weeks but BuildDirect took 1-2 day. Engineered hardwood floors were very good quality (better than expected). Service representative was very responsive and helpful.

Was satisfied with most of the product. However; I was upset that 16 boards were sent to us that had the ends cut off and huge notches cut out of the boards. Completely unusable. I filed a claim and was refunded for the 16 boards. But unfortunately I don't think I will buy anything else from Build Direct as I can't totally trust that a quality product will be sent to me.

slight error in content of my order- was a factory box mis-label issue. BD corrected it the day I sent up the flare. Great job. super good looking 3000+ miles to my door- but "liftgate" almost had me have to truck by hand 800 pounds 200 feet. Trucker helped out with pallet roller to my garage.

Acacia engineered wood is what we bought and we love the different and distinctive pieces in it, it really is beautiful and just what we wanted.

The guy that delivered our flooring made us meet him in town (about 15 miles from our house) because he said he didn't think he could turn around in our driveway. I told him that I thought he could but he insisted on us meeting him. My husband had just worked off midnights and had only been in bed 1 hour and I had to wake him up so we could go meet the delivery person. I thought that was why we paid $176.00 was to have it shipped to our home, not 15 miles from our home. We haven't put our hardwood flooring down yet but what I can see of the product (we opened one box) it looks very good. I can't wait to get it in my house. our rep was very helpful!!

I loved the look and feel of the wood flooring. It was easy to install and the random lengths were just the right size and variety. The only negative remarks are that I feel the finish of the wood scuffs and scratches easier than other brands I have worked with, and I have had quite a bit of the longer boards end up being a bit too bowed to use. My overall experience with BuildDirect has been very positive. The service has been great and the on-line order process is super easy. I appreciated the fact that BuildDirect took the time personally call me to validate that my billing address was different that my shipping address to ensure my order was legitimately made on-line. In an age where on-line fraud is quite prevalent, the extra peace of mind that BuildDirect is reviewing each order in detail is very reassuring.

I specifically inquired if all product including the moldings and T pieces were in stock and was assured that they were. Later after project started, informed that the accessory pieces needed to be manufactured; thus delaying project. It is currently continuing to delaminate in new places every week. Cracks are all over the place. Independent certified inspector I hired says these issues are manufacturing issues. The worst consumer experience in my lifetime. Continues to get worse.
 
BuildDirect Response: We're sorry for what resulted out of this situation. A 3rd party inspector was sent out by us to investigate this situation, and it was found that the wood, an exotic species that grows naturally in the tropics, became cracked, checked, and delaminated due to the dry climate in which it was installed. The information as to the kinds of measures to take when proceeding with a project like this is outlined in the instruction materials we've made available online. Still, this is a very unfortunate situation, even if we had no control over it.

The website was very easy to manuever, which made the ordering process really simple. The flooring was exactly what we expected. We were actually surprised because we figured at such a great price the product would definately be of poor quality, but much to our surprise the quality was great and just what we wanted. Shipping was fast and we had the product in less than 5 days. Every local place we visited said shipping would take about 7-10 business days, but not with Build Direct. While other companies said it would take 10 days just to receive the product, buying from Build Direct made it possible for us to receive the product and have it acculumated and installed in less than 10 day. I had one damaged box that looked like a fork lift had punctured the side of the box. About 10 pieces were damaged. Otherwise the product was excellent and went down quite nicely. I was pleased with the service and product. Only one box was damaged in shipping. As noted above, I had one box of flooring that was damaged. It looked like a fork lift had punctured the box and about 10 pieces were damaged. I was pleased with the salesman who took my order , the service and the price. I felt the product was excellent and is installing quite nicely. I will let you know if the damaged box will prevent me from finishing my floor.

I wish the sample showed more of the handscraped appearance. I did not know what handscraped was and was a littled disappointed in the appearance of the overall look. Since my contractor was there to install and my floors ripped up, I did have it installed. I love the color just not the rippled look. I think my rep was extremely helpful to my contractor when he contacted him about sub-flooring for the installation. In addition, he contacted me after I received my samples and helped me with the ordering process.

very friendly and helpful staff for the price paid the quality was good. Arrived as expected and in good condition. Everyone that has seen the floor loves it and so do we. The only negative was that the first sample sent on the floor we chose had a blotchy finish so we ordered a second sample - actually 2 of them to compare. Those samples were a completely different color than the 1st and were very golden toned. The actual product was more like the first sample. Because of this the floor in the adjoining dining room didn't blend so we called back and ordered more to do that room. Our rep was very helpful to get me just what I wanted. The only drawback on the second order was the high freight with a smaller amount but it was still a decent price even with the freight.

The shipment was on time, and the driver was helpful. However, the packing was very poorly put together. The pallet that the material was on was totally destroyed, making it very difficult to get the flooring off the truck. The floor is installed now, and looks fantastic.

Shipping was super fast, but material showed up with some of the banding snapped and pallet busted. It was left in this state. If I didn't block up the pallet, the boxes of flooring would have continued to sit with a bend in them. Loved the selection, price, service, speed in shipping. We haven't unpacked and installed the flooring yet so I can't comment on quality as of yet. Only issue so far was the state the material arrived in.

Your web site was easy to use and I had no problems. Reminder notices were generated to let me know the status. I laid the floor myself and it looks great. Very happy about the purchase!! Good job!! The wood had been in Garland, Tx warehouse for a while but I was given the order number to give to the warehouse to pick it up and they kept telling me they didn't have it but BD kept saying "It's there". After around 13 or 14 phone calls, the lady from BD FINALLY stepped up and called to speak with the storage facility in Garland and they needed the PO number and NOT the order number. Somehow that was MY fault is the impression I got. If I order again, I will remember to give the warehouse the PO number. But you have to know to ask for it because it's not in any of the emails. Beautiful floors. The texture and color are perfect. It added a lot of value to our home. And the price is outstanding!.

I have always found BuildDirect's customer service to be top notch. The 3/8" hardwood was good quality. While there were some pieces of flooring that could not be used, it was an extremely small amount. A+ on quality. Shipping was fine and as advertised, although the prices for shipping seemed high. I have purchased several large orders from your company and have been happy with the results. However, the shipping rates seem inflated and have caused me to shop elsewhere for several items. Additionally, the accessories for the wood flooring (thresholds, stair nose, etc.) are EXTREMELY overpriced. I have purchased several large orders from your company and have been happy with the results and most of the product prices. However, the shipping can be excessive sometimes and the accessories for engineered wood flooring (thresholds, stair nose, etc.) are very expensive. I purchased approximately 1,000 sq. ft. of 3/8" engineered Vanier Cosmopolitan Trendy Collection in Truffle. I am very happy with the flooring and quality. That being said, accessories will most likely cost me nearly $1,000 for stair nose and thresholds when my total flooring bill was around $2,300 (with shipping). I love the wood and other products that I have bought from your company and will continue to buy additional material but it would be nice to see accessories and shipping prices come down.

We ordered the 7 inch heart pine boards, the quality and finish was wonderful. We are putting it through out our entire house and installing it is simple. They lock together firm. my rep is very knowledgable and friendly. Eager to make things happen. What is good is EXCELLENT, but there are too many flaws. Out of 100 boxes opend so far, only two boxes have been perfect. Many boards have blisters, depressions( dents) or edge/corner damage. A lot of boards have had burnish marks or dull finish down one side of board. I just went through 6 boxes and it yielded 43 usable boards. Eleven of the boards had no trail edge and six of them were in one box. Took longer to arrive than it should have. Two of three pallets were destroyed and boxes were tumbled. There's no question this product has the potential to be EXCELLENT, but Quality Control is terrible. I'll open a box and the first boards are clean, dust-free and perfect. Further down you find trash between boards causing dents in top surface, or broken corners on otherwise protected boards. I've been taking the time to examine every board, mark the flaws, photograph them, download, label and E-mail the pictures to your staff. Very time consuming. What is down is beautiful, but screening for all of the defects has really cost me, time-wise. Probably would not do it again. Your staff has been great. Product has great potential, but simply too labor-intensive sorting out all of the flaws. Even with the ability to use some portions of some boards, the constant sorting to find something to fit takes way longer than cutting a good board to finish a row and using the other end to start the next row. Even though all of the damaged wood will be replaced for me, I still have to lug all the replacement boxes into the house . . . AGAIN.

Customer service was excellent during the ordering process and actually prior to that with the willingness to send samples and the prompt receipt of those samples. We have not yet viewed all of the flooring received but the product we have looked at is excellent. The shipping time was less than I week and that was faster than any of the flooring stores I had visited. So far this has been a great experience, especially living in a smaller town in northern Wyoming where it seems service is not necessarily a high priority. We have not had the flooring installed yet but the product is very attractive and "exceeds expectations". This is the best product we had seen in our target price range.

Not very good experience with your mechandize return policy. My installer told me it was better to install engineering wood glue down over concrete than floating. But I mistakenly brought the underlayment for floating installation. I asked your rep who told me I would have to return all items on the invoice within 30 days to avoid shipment charge. If I only wanted to return the underlayment than I have to pay $230 for shipping fee even within 30 days.

We saw the product we bought at a flooring store "on sale" for $6.50 a square foot plus $4/sq. ft. installation. The flooring store did what it could to obscure the product's identity to make it difficult to find on the Internet, but persistence pays off. I found the product at BuildDirect for $2.88/sq. ft. and found an independent contractor to install it at $18/hr. Man I love getting wholesale pricing on the Internet. The product arrived relatively quickly and was in perfect condition. We ordered other items (threshold piece, installation kits, under-padding) which all came from different warehouses but all arrived within a week of the flooring. I highly recommend BuildDirect.

my sales rep was great to work with. He was patient with my requests. We had a hard time deciding on the color and he was good about sending the samples quickly. We had to stay within a budget like most people and we had a lot of square footage to purchanse. I am very satisified with what we got for our money. There are some rough spots on the finish and a couple of "stamps" the manufacturer used to give the distressed look but once installed you don't really notice them. No issues with the shipping. No damage to any of the product. I have been very happy to date. I am hoping the finish holds up to the warranty but only time will tell on that. That issue would be the same regardless of where I purchased so I don't hold that against BuildDirect. Again, my rep was great to work with.

Flooring is absolutely beautiful and appears to be of excellent quality. The price was UNBEATABLE and I shopped around a very long time prior to making this important purchase. Not a negative but something to consider for the future. I live in a rural area and my home is not accessible to a semi rig. Is there a way to transport goods between the freight hub and a residence that cannot be reached by a large freight carrier? Often, the semi trailer is not even close to full on these runs to less populated areas that are miles apart. Being handicapped and living in a rural area, I make many large item purchases online but still find it difficult to arrange for pick up in town and transport to my home.

We were a little afraid to buy a product off of the internet without a retailer to go to if there were any problems. The samples we ordered all looked great and we brought them with us when we shopped at local stores. Everything we looked at in the stores was 2-3 times as expensive as the Vanier floor from Build Direct. We actually picked it up from El Monte because we did not have time to wait for delivery. our sales rep has provided excellent customer service to us throughout this process. Very patient sales people! No waste! Took a little longer than expected. The flooring quality was excellent--we got the maple in "Wheat." It brightened our whole house, especially since we had always had such dark, dreary carpets. Makes rooms look more spacious. We ordered on June 2nd, were told that it shipped on the 7th, and finally received the shipment on the 14th. We are in California and were told a warehouse was nearby, so don't know why it took so long. No biggy--it all worked out and we are very pleased with the quality and durability of these floors. Our installer put felt pads under all of our furniture--every last piece--so no scratches and moving even the heaviest pieces was a breeze. I recommend that.

The flooring is beautiful (we ordered Engineered Hardwood in Texas Brown Birch), though I fear the birch is too soft a wood to wear well in the long run. We'll have to wait (and pray!) to see how it all 'pans' out!! There was a significant gap in the time the flooring was ordered and the time it arrived (due to customs issues I was told) but buildirect did strive to keep me informed. Out of 20 boxes worth, we only found a few slightly warped or damaged boards. We had more waste from mistakes made in cutting complicated shapes than from the quality of the product itself! ABF Freight was great to work with, at least here on the receiving end. The delivery men were always quite accommodating. I enjoyed the whole experience. I would recommend BuildDirect to family and friends.

Best website/granular search process for a homeowner like me to understand and easy order process. Order delivered in 3-4 days! Outstanding. Due to different packaging, there was a minor mistake and I received about 100 SQFT less than I ordered. Customer service was excellent. Within 30 minutes the issue was resolved and the Customer Service Manager called me to inform me that the remaining order was shipped with an apology. We paid extra for the specific-date delivery; but, it was worth it. The truck pulled up precisely when we had requested. The flooring is attractive and fairly easy to install, with the exception of a few boards that aren't a 100% straight. Since we are doing a nail-down, this hasn't been a huge problem. I could not have asked for a better looking engineered and cork flooring. The colors were spot on and seem to be very durable. my sales reps have been great with the customer support they gave me. they even talked with the manufacturer about getting me a few more boxes of flooring that I miss calculated. my mom and dad are now considering purchasing cork for their home instead of carpet, because of how beautiful my floors turned out. Several boards were damaged during shipping. They were replaced within 4 days after providing pictures. The wood is of high quality and looks great. The shipper needed a lot of my help to get the double-sized pallet off his truck, onto the lift gate, and up my driveway. Double-sized pallets may not be the best way to ship. Good overall experience! I've recommended you to a number of my friends.

The quality and looks of the flooring was great. I did receive two boxes damaged in shipment and when I notified the sales representative, I received an email within minutes from the logistics department giving me the option of replacement of the damaged or credit. I rarely receive service at that level....thanks for the great experience. By the way I received a credit within 48 hours after I completed my project and didn't need to replace the damaged product. It has been a very nice and satisfying experience doing business with a company that obviously understands and cares about customer needs and feelings. our rep was responsive and followed up on my questions directly or had an 'expert' answer my more technical questions. Everything was handled as promised. I took pieces around to various stores looking for various transition moldings. Every person who checked out the wood planks were impressed by the quality. Construction was excellent and appeared to be higher quality (wear layer thickness and color quality) than anything I could find even close to this price range in Home Depot or Lowes or any of the local flooring stores. I originally looked to handle shipping myself but could not beat the rates orgainzed by BuildDirect. the rep arranged a very competitive rate for this shipment from LA to Hawaii. The shipment was delivered without damage. Will definitely buy here again. My only issue was that this Vanier line did not have matching moldings such as stairnose. I need to source those locally which is a bit of a challenge. But, the price, product quality, delivery and customer service was all excellent. Thank you.

Product has no defects, all planks were usable. There were a couple of pieces where the distressing wasn't smooth...little too rough on the foot, but I will sand smooth and wipe on a poly. Floor looks great. helpful with drop off times, and placement of product For the price point the product is excellent. Customer service was quick and responsive. The color variations in this hickory floor are excellent and the finish complements the style perfectly. Makes for a beautiful, interesting floor.

Though the wear layer seemed a bit thinner on the actual product compared to the sample (3 mm vs. 4 mm) the wood is beautiful. Our contractors say that the wood is easy to install. It is not really random lengths, however, so they are having to work to install it "randomly."

The best that I have worked with. small problem with delivery.The load fell off the truck but there was minimal damage to the flooring as it landed on the underpad.The nose pieces were very well wrapped but one piece was cracked almost half the length.I reported this and sent a picture and was told that I would be refunded so I was pleased to hear that. I worked with my rep and would want to work with him again. He was helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. The bedroom has just done with santos mahogany engineered wood flooring and it's really beautiful The living room is just now being done. The wood is a rich color. I had wanted one that wasn't hand scraped, but it doesn't show that much. Before I chose this one I banged on it and my other choices and scraped them with a key. This one just doesn't really show the dents and the scraped rubbed right out. There were a very few boards where the stain didn't take in a few spots, but very few and you always do 5% over. The only thing I might have liked better would have been for the boards to be longer. shipping was Spot on. I would certainly work with you again for my next project. My contractor really likes the flooring material a lot, too. The Santos mahogany color is a beautiful rich red and I have been putting rug colors next to it, and although some might think red a limiting color, I am finding that this one is not at all limiting. This was a hard thing for me, trying to find flooring, and I feel that BD and my rep made it as easy for me as it could possiibly be. Thanks so very much.

The product was better than we had hoped. One of the boxes in the pallet came with forklift damage. The delivery driver was kind enough to put the pallet exactly where we asked. This has nothing to do with your product or service, but a few days after we received the product there was a break in at our new home construction site and the entire 48 boxes of hardwood was stolen. We reordered because we were impressed with what we received..... Good for BuildDirect. Obviously you provided a great product because the thieves took it all even before we could start putting it down.

Very good service, I did everything online. I was pretty skeptical about the product when I saw the price so I ordered samples. The product was the same quality that I had been looking at for 2-3 times the price. We went with the Texas Brown handscraped birch. The floors look great. One thing I will say though. These floors went in a house that we will only be in for about a year until we build. If I was putting floors in a house I was going to be in for awhile I wouldn't use the birch. Its fairly soft in comparision to some of the other floors I have dealt with. It dosen't scratch through the finish easily but the wood does dent fairly easy. With the handscraped finish I doubt most marks will ever stand out. Overall very good value for the money though.

Helpful and friendly service. We have not layed the floors yet. They seem ok, although I am not sure, but the stain looks a bit thin. Since we bought the hand-scraped engineered wood floors, i am not that concerned as they are already aged looking. We had ordered floors from another company and they kept pushing off the delivery date. After 2 months we found they had sold the same non-existent floors to 40 customers. We had difficulty getting a refund. Build direct had all in stock and delivery was on schedule. The service and delivery was so much better than Lumber Liqudators who we originally did business with. i would use your company again.

my rep was very helpful in suggesting floating installation as opposed to a competitor who suggested gluing to a concrete floor. floor looks very nice, and was easy to install. the finishing of the baseboards and quarter round probably took more time. Arrived close to the scheduled time. Was some water on the pallet, but did not damage the flooring. customer service was very helpful, and the product was very nice.

Some of the boxes were banged up but nothing major no real damage to the flooring driver used a pallet jack to bring up the driveway.That alone was a big help Thank you for good service and fast delivery My wife and i bought 800 sq of hand scraped engineered flooring.The price was great.The qulity was even better.My wife helped me install the flooring,because i glued and nailed it,if u are gluing and nailing u need 2 people i glued and put the boards in place and my wife used the nail gun.The planks are 6"wide so i strongly advise gluing and nailing u dont want anything to happen .Make sure u have glue remover on hand so u can clean up as u go, i'm a very handy homeowner but if u are not handy maybe u should have a pro install for u ,the glue can be messy

Only had 1 or 2 boards out of the 63 boxes I ordered which were unusable due to large deep knots. recieved the flooring in about a week. The delivery driver was able to come during my lunch hour, was early, and then helped me unload the truck. We love our floors! We installed ourself and they look great. We have 3 kids so they have to be durable and so far they are holding up great and look terrific. I was especially glad that Build Direct will ship you samples. We almost went with a birch that was about $1 cheaper per square foot but we are glad we didn't as these maple floors seem much more durable and resistant to scratches and dents. We are so glad we found build direct and didn't settle for something we didn't love because it was all that was in our price range. Will definately use build direct again.

The only thing I would mention is that I was (and this is entirely my fault, not the company) surprised by the overall texture of the hand scraped look, and that I didn't get a real feel for it from the sample and the photographs. I am getting used to it now, but I think I would be great to get a better feel of a "hand scraped" look in the photographs, since that is the only way you can really see it all together in a large space before buying it. Always a quick response to any questions. Installed easily but don't know how the finish will hold up over time. Very few "unusable" boards but even those can be used in closets or hidden spaces. Pieces fit together well. Product came faster than expected and with no damage. My floors look great. Good product at a good price. I am a very satisfied customer. Disappointed that the "burlap" color wasn't available 2 days after obtaining product sample. Well, the customer service rep told me that he could get the "burlap" color but that there were no thresholds in that color. Seems like a decent product at a good price. I will be a repeat customer.

Time from order to delivery was very quick. Flooring had to be unloaded on my front street which was explained in the shipping information prior to placing my order so I can't complain. We debated purchasing flooring via the internet for over a year. This was the largest internet purchase we have made and we were not disappointed. The flooring was purchased in December to take advantage of a tax credit and I installed it myself in May. Half way through the first day I was very pleased with the product, i had enough of an area of floor down to get a really good picture of the grain, texture, and overall look of the floor. While the samples and on line pictures give you an idea of the look of the flooring it really doesn't give you the full picture until you see it installed. We would definately recommend this product as well as build direct to friends and family. Everyone who has walked in to our home has commented on the look and feel of the floor. I also orderd a stairnose and some t-mouldings, all match the floor perfectly and really helped to finish off the project.

I have been looking at engineered hardwood for at least 6 months prior to making this purchase. My wife and I looked at more than 20 samples from our local dealers and compared the quality and price to the samples from build direct. We really liked the tropical hickory for it's color, surface hardness and random widths. I will be renovating other rooms in my house soon and without question will be purchasing from build direct again. Other similar hickory floors were over $10.00 sq. ft. I did a lot of research on engineered flooring and suppliers. I ordered about a dozen samples from various internet suppliers and chose Build Direct because of the quality of their product and their BBB and customer feedback ratings. The Vanier Cosmopolitan Collection Brazilian Cherry had a 4mm top layer which is 1-2 mm thicker than any other. It has a beautiful finish and the quality control is outstanding. There were very few boards we could not use. Buyers need to be aware that the average length of the boards are about 3 feet. In a large room without much furniture of rugs, it may look a little busy, but no one has gotten that perception in my house. My living and dining room are on split levels and the flooring looks fabulous. There are enough longer boards to create a nice overall look. The color is rich and has beautiful grain. The finish is very hard and has not incurred any damage in the 3 months it has been down. There are a few minute dimples under my rolling desk chair so that area is now protected by a rug. The sales people are a pleasure to work with and the shipping was flawless. I hired a couple guys to unload the pallet which was delivered to my sidewalk. I highly recommend this company and their product.

I had questions and was able to speak with a person, not an automated system. That was very nice. We thought the product quality was excellent, it looked exactly like the sample piece. I was expecting some dark spots and knots but those pieces were very few and far between. We were interested in a slightly distressed look, so we wouldn't always be worrying about putting marks on it with chairs or it looking smudged. We absolutely love it, and the color is beautiful. [Salesperson] went out of his way to find samples in the styles/colors I was seeking. I had my heart set on floating dark-colored bamboo, which is impossible to find, and might have gone with a competitor if he had not specifically recommended the Jasper hand-scraped floating engineered flooring. Also, I was unnecessarily concerned about needing to buy the 660 minimum square footage when I only needed 500, because your rep told me it was no big deal---so nice to hear that. So far, so good. These planks look great. I am in the middle of installation now. The shipping service was delightful, holding my delivery for a few extra days at no charge because my AC went out the week of my scheduled delivery. Very happy, will definitely recommend. Great product, great price, great service--hard to find all three these days. I looked for flooring for months and months, my decision to use BuidlDirect followed a LOT of googling and local store visits. I am very happy with my decision and will probably be back sooner than later.

I am absolutely thrilled with my floor. The people who installed it had no problems and very little waste, if any. I counted on a 10 to 15% overrun, and didn't need it, that left over because of the lack of any problems or defects. They were impressed. I would absolutely buy Vanier again. The Champagne White Oak is such an excellent product. It was very easy to lay and there was so little waste that I ended up with almost enough to do a bedroom. All the edges were perfectly square, so the whole floor is absolutely seamless. The dogs' nails don't scratch the floor, but the finish sometimes dents when I drop something, the wood doesn't though. The finish is great because it doesn't show foot prints or smudges like my last floors did. My previous hardwood floors were more expensive and from a huge national brand. They were difficult to lay because no edges lined up and the wood splintered when I dropped something. I'm recommending Vanier to literally everyone I know.

Everyone was great starting with the sample ordering process right down to the shipping process. The flooring I selected was the best quality and so much cheaper than anything I found in the stores. Not one store could even come close in matching the price. This service was great and everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. I wasn't sure how the delivery would arrive. Only problem was 2 packages were damaged when we received them. Even the driver was great and assisted with the unloading process. We downloaded the flooring installation instructions for our contractor who found them easy to understand. I orderd anyways and when the product was deliverd to my house I was completely blown away. It was far more than I ever dreamed it could be.
