would like to see it a bit thicker. there was a little miscommunication but it was worked out with a few calls. the product is very pretty. we are in the process of hanging it and it seems to be a bit brittle especially when it's cold but so far things are good.

I had had serious problems in a previous order from your company, which I fully explained to the Build Direct customer service rep. He recommended I order a flat bed delivery with a fork lift and charged me an additional $180. The material arrived in a closed truck and no flat bed and the driver indicated his company does not even provide fork lift service. I ended up off loading the fiber cement siding at the curb onto my pickup and driving it up my hilly driveway. Your rep was very polite, although not especially knowledgable of the shipping procedures.

4 pieces were broken. Pallet was severely damaged. Shipment was delivered in a container truck making it impossible to unload the pallet with a forklift. very disappointing. my rep was great. from the ordering to the shipping, he was very thorough and informative. he was also very responsive to rectifying the issue with the shipping damage. couldn't ask for anything more.

my rep was excellent in making sure i was satisfied with samples and then checking on the final product. Gave me confidence about ordering online. Many chips in the finish. Will have to spend several hours touching up. It seemed like the finish hadn't had time to dry before it was packed for shipping

customer service was very good, returned all phone calls promptly. the product quality seems to be excellent, i have been busy on the project at work so I was a little slow moving the siding and checking for damage a few of the boards were broken or had chips missing, but not a major problem so far.For shipping, I was expecting the siding to arrive on a flat bed trailer, but it was in a van type truck presented a small problem with the unloading by fork lift. My experience with BuildDirect has been satisfactory as of this date.

Our contact was great to deal with, he was available for us before the purchase and after. Love the product, the sample helped us with our final decision and now that the siding is up it looks great. Shipped on time in the middle of winter, impressive I enjoyed the process it is intimidating buying $8k worth of product over the internet but once you complete one transaction future purchases will be a breeze. Overall a positive experience. It really helped to have pictures of the product fully installed to make my decision. Thanks for the great service and prices.

All our calls and questions were answered promptly and completely. I absolutely love the product. Many builders in our area have never seen it, and were impressed with the look. The delivery driver stayed in phone contact with us, which made the coordination of the delivery flawless. The product is extremely high quality, with a tremendous amount of effort put into protective packaging for delivery. It arrived without a single piece being damaged in any way. We have it installed, and the look is stunning. When we tell people it is a concrete based product, they can hardly believe it, because the color and texture looks so much like wood.

I wish more companies would follow your lead. I am recommending you to anyone that I can I can't find anything bad to say. When the paint can was ruptured you had me a new one in 2 days. Your people called back when or before they said they would. I was told that if there was any product damaged that you would take care of me and not to worry about the freight companies unreasonable policies. You guys are great and I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

The siding is beautiful. It arrived in perfect condition. The fiber cement siding I ordered from BuildDirect is excellent. It is exactly what we wanted. The River Rock painting process makes the siding look like weathered barn wood. The pricing is much less than other pre-painted fiber cement siding, and looks better. Customer Service was good to work with, helpful and prompt on returning my calls. I am recommending BuildDirect to anyone building a house.
