Product arrived when I was told it would and in perfect shape.

For the most part the Build direct experience was good. The product looks very nice however, the installation instructions were incorrect. The instructions indicate two different methods of installation. Either using membrane on plywood or 1/2" cement board on 1/2" plywood. I choose to use the plywood and backer board method. The problem is that the bullnose of the tile only cover 3/4 of an inch. When you take into consideration the plywood, the backerboard, and the layer of thinset to apply the tile you end up with approx. 1-1/4. this leaves about 3/8 of an inch of plywood visible from the bottom. Not very attractive. When I called to speak with a rep from your co. He told me that he understood my problem but that there was really no definative way to address it. Alot of maybe try this or maybe try that. In the end I used cabinet face eding to cover the visible wood and the job looks ok, but as I had mentioned to your rep you may want to change or possibly add something to the directions to help alleviate this problem for future installers.

ONLY HAD WISH THAT ICOULD BUY JUST THE PEICES I NEEDED RATHER THAN IN KITS,,AS I WILL BE INSTALLING MORE OF THESE,FOR MY CUSTOMERS.
IT'S A SOMEWHAT NEW APPROACH AND PLEASURE TO HAVE FOUND A BUISNESS THAT DOES WHAT IT SAYS WITHOUT HAVING TO MAKE NUMEROUS CALLS ABOUT AN ORDER.YOU WILL CERTAINLY HEAR FROM ME AGAIN. THANKS AGAIN BILL G.
