I ordered two different products (Vanier and Beauchene). The Vanier was good quality, but the Beauchene was quite poor with regard to the milling of the product. The bevels on the ends varied a lot from one piece to the next. As well, there were slight differences in both thickness and width of each strip. This has led to a more uneven surface than what I was expecting. The floor layer said "I guess you got a good deal on these 'seconds'". I explained that I did not knowingly purchase "seconds' from build direct. The quality of the Beauchene wood itself was ok. They apparently have a milling problem at their plant.

Outstanding. The look and feel is better than products at double the price.
