I love the color and texture of my floor. It looks remarkable and is exactly what I expected in terms of appearance (maybe even a better). My only mild concern is that it REALLY is not as durable as I would have hoped. We are very careful with the floor, but there are already some pretty significant gouges in it, ones that even when touched-up still stand out against the hand-scraped finish. Again, I was aware that the choice of Alder would show dings (I didn't want a floor that I had to fret over with a dog or high heels or whatever) but still, it's definitely more vulnerable to wear than I thought it would be.

some of the flooring was not the same width. it was only off by adout 1/8th of an inch, so some modification was necessary to keep the gaps close together.

I love the floor. It is beautiful! Everything I have wanted at an affordable price. I hope you keep this item in stock so I can do more rooms in the future.
