Lifetime Manufacturing Guarantee

Jasper Hardwood hereby warrants to the original buyer ("Buyer"), the goods to be free from defects in finish, assembly, grading, milling and dimension for as long as the Buyer owns the home. In order for this guarantee to be valid, Jasper Hardwood floors must be installed and maintained in accordance with the Jasper Hardwood installation and maintenance guidelines. Flooring should be inspected before installation. If any defects are found during or prior to installation, the Buyer must notify Jasper Hardwood of defects as soon as possible and discontinue installation.

Finish Warranty

Jasper Hardwood is warranted against wear through or lack of finish adhesion for 25 years from the purchase date. This warranty is conditioned upon Jasper Hardwood receipt of notice in writing from the Buyer of the alleged defect prior to the expiration of the 25 year limited warranty period and evience that the products were properly installed and not subject to any of the conditions described below.

Limitations

In the event that Jasper Hardwood determines that one or more of the above warranties apply to a claim by Buyer, the Buyer's exclusive remedy and Jasper Hardwoods sole liability on any claim, whether in tort, contract or breach of warranty, shall be limited to either (1) the repair or replacement of the defective Jasper Hardwood Floors for the affected area only, or (2) the refund of the applicable purchase price. Jasper Hardwood hereby disclaims all other warranties whatsoever, expressed or implied. Jasper Hardwood expressly excludes and shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages of any kind. If Jasper Hardwood shall neglect to repair or replace the Jasper Hardwood Floors which has proven defective, then Jasper Hardwood will supply a new Jasper Hardwood Floors of the same color and grade, if available. If such Jasper Hardwood Floor is unavailable or discontinued, Jasper Hardwood reserves the right to supply a Jasper Hardwood Floor of similar value and appearance.

Exclusions

Negligence, accidents, spiked or high-heeled shoes, water, fire, wet mopping, erosion, pebbles, sand and other abrasives, insufficient prevention / protection in kitchen / working areas, unprotected furniture, extreme environmental conditions, insect infestation after shipment from point of origin, damage occurring during shipping / transportation, pets, natural wood fiber surface discoloration, poor workmanship by installer, installation of defective boards, failure to follow all written installation and / or maintenance instructions, misuse or improper alterations of original manufactured products, attempts to repair or replace, installation over radiant floor heating, refinishing will render these limited warranties void and of no fore or effect. Scratches, surface damage, or indentations caused by lack of proper maintenance also void the guarantee. Variations in color, grain, mineral streaks and knots as a result of product age, species, and exposure to UV light are a natural occurrence in hardwood flooring and are not covered under this guarantee. Gloss reduction is not considered surface wear, and therefore not covered under this guarantee.
