Select and Better Grade

• Slight natural color variations
• Smaller mineral streaks and fish eyes allowed
• Checks, splits, worm holes not allowed
• Minimum length: 14 inches

Mill Run & Better Grade

• Mix 60% Select and Better and 40% Mill Run
• Variations of natural colors
• Mineral streaks and fish eyes allowed
• Checks, splits, worm holes not allowed
• Small number of tight, sound knots is accepted
• Minimum length: 14 inches

Provincial Grade

• Natural color variations allowed
• Dark mineral marks accepted for entire length of board
• Small number of sound knots allowed
• Minimum length: 12 inches

Mill Run Grade

• All natural color variations allowed
• Mineral marks accepted for entire length of board
• Sound knots allowed
• Occasional checks or small pilings allowed
• Minimum length: 12 inches

Rustic / Folk Grade

• Variegated appearance
• All color variations allowed
• Partially loose knots, flags, worm holes and mineral streaks allowed
• Has no minimum average length. This grade will contain a large proportion of shorts and in some instances will be entirely short lengths.
• Minimum length: 10 inches
• No Warranty on Rustic/Folk Grade
