It is tongue and groove and comes with a 25 year warranty against finish wear and manufacturing/structural defects. Beauchene maple hardwood flooring is exclusively Canadian Hard Maple.

About 20% of the flooring we've tried to install so far is badly warped or had small cracks in the finish layer that expanded significantly on installation and had to be torn out.
