Product quality has been the one sour point of this purchase. All of the flooring is being used in a brand new home. Upon the arrival of the flooring it was stored and acclimated to the temperature and humidity of the home for over three weeks. During the install process we have noticed a few boards that have been installed have split leaving an undesireable board in the middle of a floor. We also have removed more than 4 boxes of wood that have splits and cracks in them that we will not use in fear of more problems that may arise later on down the road. Also, the stair nosing that was ordered with the wood flooring does not match up properly with the flooring planks. I have been in the process of getting these replaced as the house closing is just over one month away, but have not had luck in this situation. Solutions provided have been any where from 're-milling' the wood on my own to have it fit to having an inspector come to the house and check the home conditions. Either way, all solutions have not remedied the situation and really make me question whether buying from BuildDirect was the proper choice. It is my hope this will be resolved in the very short future. I would appreciate a call at 402.216.1458 to once and for all remedy the stair nosing problem which has been discussed to great extent with Stevan Kraguljac. I never imagined that this would become the one factor of building my own home that could cause the closing date to not be met. The lack of having a stair nosing to install at the house has delayed other items that should not be completed. I appreciate your attention to this matter and its resolution.

Some pieces were marginally smaller in width. Onced nailed into the floor, it was a pain in the rear to get it out.
