We have gotten two orders from Build Direct and I would recommend it highly. We have apartment buildings and intend to replace the carpet with the vinyl wood plank flooring. Our installer of our flooring liked the product and the ease of installation. We are very happy with the vinyl plank flooring and we will order more in the future.

I felt like the shipping charge was out of line. I ordered twice the number of boxes of flooring about 2 months before I placed this order and my shipping was 1/3 less on the first order where I received twice the amount of product. That seemed unreasonable, yet my hands were tied. I had to have this exact flooring to complete the project. Each person I spoke with was very friendly and got my order processed immediately. The flooring was delivered timely each time I ordered.

The adhesive backing is not sufficient. the planks curled up, and do not stick back down. I will need to replace flooring with some other type of product. Service was good, product was a disappointment.

I was just thinking I should call my rep and thank him for helping me with this purchase when I received this email. So sure, I'd be happy to fill out your survey. To answer your question, my rep was extremely helpful. He was prompt in his responses, and available by phone. He was honest and friendly. He was knowledgable about the product and anwered all my questions without hesitation. Thank you!! I love our new flooring! It is even more beautiful than I imagined. It went together easily and looks like we had it professionaly installed, even though we've never done anything like that in our lives. Our rep gave careful instructions to my husband on the phone, and that was all the help we needed. I had wanted to buy locally, so I brought the sample I had to our local flooring warehouse and showed it to the salesman to find out if he had anything similar. He just looked at it and said "Wow! This is nice! Where did you find it? No, we don't have anything as nice as this, and certainly not at that price!" If you want hardwood, but have kids, dogs, and high traffic, Vesdura High performance planking is the answer. With the cork backing it is quiet and easy to walk on. It is not just a photo finish, it has a real layer of protection on the surface, and I suspect it will look as nice as it does now in twenty years. The surface has just a touch of texture so there is no glossy surface to be polishing every time someone takes a step on it. The only thing I would like to see different is for it to have matching trim pieces available, but we did found something okay to use at the flooring warehouse in town. The shipping company you used that actually brought the product to our house was quite unprofessional. I was tracking the progress of my shipment online until they got it, and that's where it stopped. They did not have a way to reach me. When I called them, they were very limited in when they could bring it insomuch that I had to hire someone to stay at the house to receive delivery, and they never showed up. They were supposed to call before coming, and they never did. When they did get there he apologized and said he was running late and forgot his phone. On the other hand the product arrived packed extremely well and in perfect condition. You have a good marketing plan in place, to get free samples out immediately. If I'd had pay for them, I would not have ordered them. If it took very long for them to come, I would have settled with something at the local flooring store. I also appreciate our reps honesty, and flexibility to work with us. If I had not been comfortable with him, I would not have ordered from an online company. I also appreciated knowing that if I hadn't liked the flooring upon seeing it in my home, I had thirty days to return it. I never had any problems with any part of this order, from finding it online, to installation. So I don't know what kind of response I might have received if I had to complain about anything. As it stands, I highly recommend Build Direct. Thanks to everyone who was involved in helping us to have these beautiful floors.

great service, responsive reps Only a couple of planks arrived damaged but customer ordered plenty, so no need to replace. All product was supposed to be shipped on 11/10/11. Customer had to make 3 phone calls to get all the product. Overall good experience and I would recommend to a friend. Product did not have T-molding to match. Great follow-up by company.

My shopping experience with your company was beyond excellent. The flooring stuck to the concrete floor and it looks great. Very easy to install. Shipping service was informative and on a rainy day that the delivery came the driver covered our order and it stayed dry. My neighbor is looking at the samples now and may place an order with you. As you know many basements flooded in New Jersey and this is a great alternative to carpet which retains the water and is hard to move. BuildDirect is very informative about there products and answers any question promptly and keeps you in the loop when orders are being shipped. I love the look and durability! The Delivery driver got no response when he called my cell phone because I was at work and my phone does not work there. Instead of checking to see if anyone was here he just left. I had a crew here waiting for the material to arrive. I found the material I liked and ordered it, had it delivered without much problem.

I have had many people tell me that they like the "wood" flooring that I have used. They swear it is wood and are amazed to discover it is vinyl. I have used this flooring in two separate locations, one for the business and one for myself. Good prices for vinyl planks compared to other sites. Shipping rate are a little on the high side. These planks where fabulous. Installation was a snap. They went down so easy. There was hardly any waste. I would order them again for my next home project.

Loved the free samples. Would've made the wrong decision without them! It looks high-end, great warranty, and was the least expensive by far after a long internet search. So far, it's been durable and cleans up with a Swiffer mop. Arrived much sooner than expected. The only con is that I found the shipping cost relatively high, over half the cost of the flooring because I have a small house and didn't need much square footage. Easy to order, rapid shipping, no problems at all. Would definitely buy from this dealer again. Some people thought I was crazy to install vinyl plank flooring over real hardwood, but it looks FABULOUS and is so much easier to maintain! Everyone that sees it is impressed and 1 doubting friend said: "You were right, this looks great, the whole house looks new again!" I installed it myself (60 year old woman) with no difficulty in a few evenings after work. It was easier than I expected and actually was fun. Best remodelling decision I've made in a while!

Very helpful it does scratch a little and looses the color where that happens but I think it will work ok but I knew this going in because I had requested samples. very prompt I thought your salesman were very prompt and willing to help with samples etc. I would buy from you again with no problem.

very fast and accomodating to our special needs product was great but not practical to cover the large area we had. Sheet vinyl goods would have worked better and saved the client money. But due to poor planning we were in a bind and used what we could get in a short time. on time The people I dealt with were very good. speedy service.

Being able to get free samples of the vinyl planks was very important. I wouldn't have dared buy them without seeing what the flooring would look like in my house. This is a wonderful service. Being able to read the complete directions for installation before purchasing the flooring was also very helpful.
