PRODUCT GUARANTEE
For Toyko Series This Unlimited Guarantee covers only 1st choice material, which may be wholly or partially replaced after installation if a claim is made in regard to one of the following features:
Frost and Thermal Shock Resistance: Toyko Series material does not undergo any alterations, even when subjected to frost or drastic heat.
Compressive Strength: The installed Toyko Series material will withstand compressive stress up to 1500 kgs/cm2.
Footwear Resistance: Toyko Series will not experience a removal of material greater than 205mm3 per the EN 102 test as a result of footwear under any condition of use.
Chemical Etching Resistance: Toyko Series material may be cleaned with any common household detergent or cleaner. The product will withstand contact with acidic solutions or cleaners found in common commercial use, with the exception of hydrofluoric acid.
Cleanability: Toyko Series will maintain it’s cleanability for the life of the product, even after heavy use, and will still only require cleaning with common cleaners.
Report and Reimbursement Terms The manufacturer will remove and replace, at its own expense, any tiles from a floor in which those tiles do not comply with the warranted performance. The guarantee is only valid if the installation of tiles has been carried out by a professional installer. The defect must be reported to BuildDirect within 15 days from the date of the defect. The guarantee is limited to 1st choice tiles. Any other compensation for damages of any kind is excluded. The duration of this Guarantee is unlimited.
Exclusions Defects occurring in the following cases cannot be blamed on the product and therefore are not guaranteed: 1. Abnormal stress within the ordinary use of the tiles or use that does not comply with the normal use of the product. 2. Malformations or damage due to external agents, substances, or physical abuse. 3. Mechanical and/or manual abrasion and abnormal and/or fraudulent alterations. 4. Damages incurred due to transportation and visual manufacturing defects detectable prior to installation. 5. Damages derived from installation not complying with the DIN standards and/or ANSI standards, or damages derived from installation not carried out by a professional installer.
