Friendly and prompt. I got a call to make sure the credit card wasn't fraudulent and the shipment came quickly. I was weary of all the A+ reviews thinking maybe the review system was rigged... but in fact, the slate is fifty times higher quality than Home Depot's. I am very happy. Shipment was 5,500 lbs, and $500. That is fair, or better than fair. (Good, if you will). But it is too heavy for a truck lift gate, so we had to unload manually. It was O.K. and they told us in advance, but that is some room for improvement.

Customer Service was excellent, in fact we have recommended you to several builders and commercial contractors in the area that we work with in our business. Expected 5% to 10% breakage but packing was excellent and had minimal problems with breakage. One worked very nicely, the other had some delays but partially our fault. Had trouble coordinating delivery times. Once we got with the right person to get it re-scheduled, things went well. The problem was that due to our location the truck they would put it on would be a last delivery and the driver never made it to his last deliver because of being close to season. When we communicated with the right person, we were placed at the front of a truck travelling through Norman and things went fine. Pleased, think you should expand your lines beyond primarily being flooring.

my sales rep Went above and beyond to help us with the slate tile that we ordered. He was very knowledgable and offered suggetions for sealers and techniques to make the process go smoother. The slate tile that we could use was beautiful however there were about 20% of the tiles that we could not use out of each box because they had been broken and glued back together at te maufacturers.Build Direct was amazing and made sure to send us more tile to replace these unusable tile. If it wasn't for their great customer service making sure that we had exactly what we wanted then our experience may not have been so positive. Shipped on time and with little breakage on the part of the shipper. The manufacturer however not so good regarding the quality of the product. I will definately be purchasing from BuildDirect again because they stand by their products and have wonderful customer service. I think they will be in business a while just because of how they treat their customers not to mention the fact that they have a large variety. The samples that we recieved were really great quality. Your customer service is amazing and I know you will be around for a long time because you aim to please your customers!

I always shop around. The amount of samples I was able to receive from build direct to help make my decision made it so much easier. They followed up with me about my samples many times and answered any questions I had. Ultimately, I chose build direct to buy from simply because of the great service! Of course the price was great too! We LOVE our slate. It is definitely rustic and for our purposes just what we wanted!! Some of the sizes were a little off... but that is natural with a natural stone. My husband just had to rip some of the pieces down a little to make the pattern perfect. Shipping was very convienent. Not very many companies can ship 3/4 of a ton of product with such ease. And the shipment came much earlier than expected. I had a fantastic experience with build direct and have recommended our company to many other people.

Top notch from the very beginning. We were surprised to learn that the slate was as dirty as it was. They had to be laid out on the driveway and hosed down and scrubbed. Since they were bundled in India, I guess this is normal. The slate arrived ahead of schedule, and the local carrier called to see if we were available. All packages were in good condition, none were broken. The overall experience was positive, and we will order again.

I could not have asked for a better looking engineered and cork flooring. The colors were spot on and seem to be very durable. my sales reps have been great with the customer support they gave me. they even talked with the manufacturer about getting me a few more boxes of flooring that I miss calculated. my mom and dad are now considering purchasing cork for their home instead of carpet, because of how beautiful my floors turned out. Builddirect supplied me with ~2000 sq ft of flooring for the inside of my home and if I can fit it in my budget, they will help me with the completion of my deck outside.

I had to call to get notice of when product was shipping. The product quality was great. The finished product looks excellent. The contractor noted that there were many pieces that were not in good shape, but I had extras. There was virtually no breakage. Tile are not a square or a accurate in size as I expected. We have had to trim them to give uniform grout lines. Otherwise the time are very nice. I had a good experience using BuildDirect and will use you again, if I have the need.

It was stressful when I was told I needed men to unload pallet after I ordered as I expected men that delivered product to unload. You eventually found a liftgate truck to deliver and man to unload. Truck company was very informative and easy to work with. I could have bought this slate locally, and it would have cost me exactly double per square foot. The delivery charge from BD was off set by the fact I didn't have to pay tax. Best of all, with BD it was delivered to my driveway. Do you have any idea how difficult, or expensive it would have been to bring from the store!?

I was pleased not only with the condition that the pallets arrived in but also in the shipping costs in comparison to other sources. I have so far opened one half and installed nearly a third of our total order. It is not only incredibly beautiful but also of high quality. The gauge of the tile are very close for a natural quarried product. We had minimal breakage, even less than I would have expected for slate. I am very happy to have found a source for natural tile with reasonable pricing and high quality. I have worked with tile and floor coverings for many years and would recommend your product and your site.

The slate was more beautiful in person than even the picture conveyed. We could not be happier. We used it on our outdoor patio, and the colors are amazing.
