Customer service was exceptional. I was overseas, not terribly computer accessible but needed to get my order placed before returning to home and my customer service rep went out of his way to accommodate my questions and deal with the minor computer glitch we had with the online order entry system.

There is a lot of breakage, but I'm not sure if it is exccesive. I hope to work around the issue by using the broken panels on shorter applications. We had a huge amount of stone (18,000+ pounds) delivered to a remote location. The truck was huge and had a difficult time dropping off the load and turning around, but in the end it worked out, although we had a bit of fence knocked down. BuildDirect is a good value. I had the materials delivered to a remote location, so the shipping logistics were a challenge, but it worked out.

We need to purchase a large quantity of flooring (hardwood). We have to order in two batches because of storage issues while the work is done. The shipping costs with the split order are a bit steep. We realize the costs are static to BD so not much can be done but it stings a little. You have an excellent sales rep. He maintained respectful contact until we were ready to order and was helpful every step of the way. Great skills, intelligent and resourceful, he is an asset to your company!

From the order placement to the delivery we were pleased. Once we opened the product we were especially impressed that there was no beakage. However was has been a negative on the product in that the stone veneer flat pieces are NOT flat. They are bowed making ir difficult if not impossible to adhere to a flat prepared surface. We are nor completely through the 3 pallets but the estimation is that this is the case for 50% of the flat or field material. To make these bowed pieces work we are having to cut them into shorter pieces. The biggest issue is that the field material is not flat as discussed in my answer to quesrion 4 above. This has added to considerable labor cost on the job.

Stellar This is a great product Some damage but may have not been wrapped well enough Would definitely use you again and recommend to others. Thank you.
