A couple of boards were not usable. "No grain" to speak of. Looked like a different material. However, the overall quality of the material was equally great.

I was a bit disappointed with a small portion of the decking. The grooved material which was the majority of the order had only a couple pieces I couldn't use but the non grooved material which I used on my steps is so different that everyone ask if they are a different kind of wood. Although I have used Ipe several times and seen it at other places, I can't say I've ever seen any that dark. The wood is good and straight and has a nice color and it would not be an issue if the entire shipment was the same. The pallet could have stood to be a little better built. I was all to pieces by the time it got to Richmond.
