New Delivery Option Saves Money

A new delivery option is the latest money-saving benefit in BuildDirect's distribution system. Customers can now arrange their own pickups at local delivery terminals. “With many North American buyers having multiple deliveries each week, we realized this would be a big cost savings to them,” said BuildDirect President Jeff Booth. “Repeat customers often have their own trucking, or they can arrange for local freight, so it's more cost effective for them to pick up shipments at a nearby terminal.” Primarily useful for pallet orders, the new option also applies to containers trucked to inland ports.
