If your bathroom is under construction, you’re going to need to find some creative ways to get clean. Here are a few bathroom hacks that might do the trick:
1. Cash in Some Good Karma
It may seem weird at first, but one of the easiest solutions is to ask your neighbors to use their bathroom for a while. This depends on how well you know them, obviously. But in any case, it’s not a bad idea to offer them a small gift as a token of your appreciation. Some artisanal soaps, perhaps?
2. Hit the Gym
If you’re new to the neighborhood, or you just don’t know your neighbors all that well, you can always go to your nearest gym or rec center. The only con of this suggestions, is that you may have to do some exercise to justify the visit, but hey—desperate times call for desperate measures.
3. Be Straight with Your Contractor
If neither of these options appeal to you, then the easiest thing to do is set a strict deadline with your contractor. Let them know that you’re willing to pay a little over time if it means getting the job done quickly. You can even ask them to put the bathtub in first so at least you can take a bubble bath while the rest of the bathroom is being completed. Just be sure to cover any new shower tiles with sheet plastic.
4. Hose Off
If none of these options work….well, there’s always the hose. Just make sure to set the nozzle to “shower.”
