Reading Time: 1 minute

Sometimes you see a photo, and you’re like “wow!” This is what happened with this one. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular; I was just searching for photos with interesting colors. The effect of this photo is quite interesting, as you’ll see in a minute.

The description says “hotel atrium”, but I don’t know which hotel in what city. If you know where that is, please do let us know in the comments!

The photo

It’s like looking at a mechanical rainbow. The red and orange at the bottom slowly transform into deep blues at the top. This futuristic architecture, full of light and yet aware of its industrial background, must look impressive from any angle.

The palette

The palette we get is a bit all over the place, at least at first glance. But I think that if managed wisely, this could work well for a colorful office or a bohemian living room or bedroom. Since the green and blue are somewhat muted, it’s easy to focus on the red and yellow. I can take or leave the black, but again black always adds a touch of sophistication to any decor.

Ideas?

I’m curious to know if you like this palette or if you can see it used in home decor. What do you think? Where would you use this and how?
