Is the sun shining where you are? Because where I am, it certainly is… maybe a little too much. But come winter, we’ll miss the bright, saturated colors that come from looking at flowers in the sun.

This week’s color palette is inspired by sunny, yellow flowers. Want to keep your home sunny and warm all year long? Look no further than this joyous, bright palette to reinvigorate a playroom or a kitchen.

Here’s a warm palette with a touch of green for balance.

Sunny Color Palette of the week

Where can I use this palette?

In the home, this palette is perfect for a creative office (orange is a creative color, while red denotes action and yellow happiness). The darker orange makes a perfect main shade, with dark red and green as contrasts.

In the kitchen, these colors will make you want to cook all day. This palette is reminiscent of French and Italian country kitchens, where good food and good cheer happens.

These colors would also be suitable for a playroom for creative children. There is so much fun and warmth in this palette that they’ll want to play all day long.

What do you think?

Would you use this palette in your home? Where would it be featured? Share your ideas with us in the comments!
