As holiday gift lists are being put together, and seasonal music is beginning to wind its way through shopping malls, some of us aren’t really thinking all that much about the lawn. In many climates in North America, the lawn lives in another section of our planning brains when winter rolls around.
In some cases with the lawn, its a case of out of sight and out of mind, covered as many lawns are in many regions of the country as I write this with a blanket of snow. But, for those of us who can actually still see our lawns as they prepare for their long winter slumber, there are some things we can do to help keep our lawns healthy through the cold season and ready for a glorious awakening in spring.
