Thinking of continuing the look of your floor up your wall or throughout your shower? Its not a bad idea and it really does tie the whole room together. Here is an example of how travertine could look in a shower. Not too shabby in my books. One thing to keep in mind, and this is really important in wet locations, is to use the proper materials. Using improper materials can cause more headaches than you could imagine.
