When installing wood floors, one vital step is the first row which will determine the spacing and alignment of all of the other rows.  After all, if you get this row wrong the other rows will be wrong too, with uneven gaps. 

So, with that in mind, here’s Matt to talk about the best way to make sure you choose the right direction of the boards, as well as how to correctly lay out the first few rows of your wood flooring installation.
