Ken Stanick is Chief Revenue Officer at BuildDirect. As BuildDirect’s CRO, Ken sits on the executive committee and leads the company’s Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams. He’s charged with driving operational efficiency across the organization while adding strategic business support during this growth stage for BuildDirect. He is a recognized thought leader in B2B/B2C platforms, marketplaces and multi-sided business models, and also brings considerable knowledge of marketing, analytics, research and business intelligence for fast-growth technology companies.
Prior to joining BuildDirect, Ken was the Director of Sales & Channels at Amazon Business where he was part of the core executive team that defined the strategy and launched Amazon Business in 2015. He has also held various roles at Ariba (an SAP company), most recently as Vice President of Network Solutions where he played a key role in developing Ariba’s go-to-market strategy for the Ariba Network (2-sided business model), as well as architecting and creating a new global sales and marketing team.
Ken earned a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of British Columbia.
In his spare time Ken can be found at Whistler Mountain with his two daughters and his wife, racing his rally car, playing hockey, or competitively paddling – he has competed in the US Kayak Championships, finished second in the Yukon Quest (the longest paddling event in the world), and the World Outrigger championships in Hawaii.
