Excellent product, good price, excellent service.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this product from BuildDirect and found the Evora Plank was superior to most everything in the same price range. I liked that the cork layers were thicker on the bottom as well as the wear layer on top and that the middle board was HDF instead of the MDF you find in a lot of other products. BuildDirect does not send out much communication during the process which I am sure could make some people nervous but I was given an order confirmation, sent an email when it shipped and received a phone call when it was ready for pick up at my local distribution center and that was enough contact for me. The planks were somewhat difficult to assemble but once you figure out a fews tricks, I believe the tight tolerance provided for a really clean and solid install. I would say that most DIYers can do a very nice job in a small area, but if you are doing a large area with any complications you will have to have some carpentry/flooring skills to achieve a superior finished product. Overall I received the flooring in a timely manner for a reasonable price and am happy with the result. I do recommend.
