So I have read the "nit picky" reviews on here. A few of them almost scared me away. While my job is not construction, have had experience in construction for 30+ years. Honestly the product has been great. And we bought a large amount of product, 1700 + sq ft. We love the color and the quality is builder's great and for less than $4 a sq ft, how the heck can you complain about that? Yes, as with any flooring product, you are going to get a few dinged up boards, maybe some broken tongues, that is why you save them to the side and use them to be ripped, etc. And as always a few boards with knots, etc. Its wood.. Not engineered wood. Imperfects add to the character. No product with be perfect and you ALWAYS assume about 10% waste. To me the people complaining have probably never dealt with hardwood before. Recommend the company, I will shop here again.
