Product Overview

Add a rich sense of elegance to your home with the Mazama Hardwood Handscraped Tropical Collection. Made from sturdy maple, this solid hardwood flooring offers a stable surface that’s built to stand the test of time. Sure to compliment a range of interior design styles, this attractive flooring offers a natural sense of warmth to both contemporary and rustic homes alike. If you’re looking for solid hardwood flooring at manufacturer-direct prices, BuildDirect has you covered. Learn more about this flooring below.

  • Classic, natural beauty: offering creamy white to reddish brown tones, maple has tight graining patterns and a uniform texture. These qualities allow maple to be sanded to a beautiful finish. The rich brown stain gives the maple a more dramatic appearance.
  • Handscraped surface: for an on trend antique appearance, these floor boards feature a handscraped surface texture. This finishing conveniently masks minor scratches and imperfections.
  • Low effort, low-gloss finish: offering a more matte appearance, this hardwood’s low luster finish brings out the maple’s natural color variations and grain patterns. This finish also shows less debris, making these boards easier to keep looking new.
  • Superior surface finish: for lasting protection and enhanced scratch resistance, these quality planks are finished with 7 coats of Treffert Aluminum Oxide.
  • Expert milling: this hardwood flooring is carefully crafted with micro-beveled edges that allow for straightforward installations on leveled surfaces that are prone to small imperfections, or installation in older homes.
  • Post purchase support: Mazama backs this hardwood flooring with a 25-year finish warranty and a lifetime structural warranty.
  • Plank dimensions: these boards measure 3/4" Thick x 4 7/8” Wide x Random Lengths (12” to 48” long, with an average plank length of 28”).

We LOVE the hardwood--looks even more amazing when we got the boxes with larger pieces! Excellent quality for spectacular price!

WE are so impressed with the product and can't wait to see it in our new home as we put the final touches on everything. It's solid, beautiful, rustic, and handscraped like we love!! My hubby says it seems to scratch easily but hoping it won't be noticeable. Also, the other review that say they chip easily upon install is right. If you are used to banging out oak flooring pretty hard, you better back off! These hardwoods go in straight and don't need a lot of force so be very gentle upon install. I wouldn't say it slows the install process down, just means less force from installer :)
