OK Here goes. I have NEVER taken the time to write a product review but this hardwood truly deserves. I have spent the last 30 days installing 1800 sq. feet in my new construction home. Here is some return of experience and what to expect. The color is exceptional. The quality is top notch. The sizes of boards in the boxes are exactly what you would need. Initially we thought there were lots of 12" boards that would not be used but in all actuality every piece went somewhere. We found ZERO waste. truly none. The only waste was created by my own mistakes only. They state to expect 5% but that was not found to be the case whatsoever. It is a very dark stain. It will show everything. But when clean it is amazing. If you are looking for low maintenance this may not be for you. From other reviews this was really the only comment found derogatory. We bought it knowing it will take some additional care so no surprises here. For installation. A couple of key points. We found after purchase that a standard floor nailer is not what you need. We purchased one that works for "ALL" hardwood types but if you read further it states that extremely hard woods should use a specific nailer. We purchased one that shoots only 18ga. l shaped nails and worked like a charm. A smaller nailer may have worked but we did not want to take any chances. So all I can say is this. If you want an extremely high quality material that is gorgeous and you are ok with having to work a bit more keeping it clean, then this is the product for you. PERIOD. I will try and upload a few pictures of the finished product in the future. OH. The only other point to mention. Let this material acclimate to your conditions and I kept all boxes closed until ready to install to make sure I had no warping in the wood.

Product is beautiful and well manufactured. Make sure your installer adjust the widths with a table saw as they install the flooring. Some of the smaller pieces vary in widths. Very strong wood flooring as expected. We are very happy with the outcome. Also you will have to use nails and not staples to fasten the flooring as it is incredibly hard wood. Definitely not for glue down in case some one tells you that you can. I would highly recommend this product and the only thing I would say is that it will show dog hairs and dirt. Otherwise, it is a very spectacular looking floor with a great finish. We love it!
