For this product we purchased, let me say that after all the trouble with installation (more on that below), the floor looks and feels great! For the look and feel of the floor we would give it five stars. It's a beautiful floor and, provided it lasts, we're very happy with it. That said, we wouldn't buy this particular flooring again. Reasons follow. Now on to the complaints. A minor complaint is that after installing several hundred square feet of this, the boards all begin to look the same. A bit more variety wouldn't hurt, but that's a very minor complaint as the flooring overall looks great. Now on to the big issue, installation. First, don't expect to put this flooring together by yourself. I don't see how one person could do it. The boards are large enough and flexible enough that it is very difficult to line up the entire length by oneself. My spouse and I working together were able to do it but it takes several hands working together to get the job done. Next is the "click lock". It doesn't! It doesn't click and the lock is extremely weak. The instructions say, "...it will be necessary to lock the short end into the previous plank first before locking the long side of the plank. Angle the plank and push the tongue into the groove and adjust it until the tongue locks into place. It may be necessary to lift both planks slightly to lock the joint together". If you lift the previous plank, even slightly, it will come out of lock, leaving a gap. Then instead of one board not locked, you have two. Getting two (or more) boards locked is nearly impossible. Build Direct was very helpful, telling us that after a few rows it would get easier. It did, but not by much. The final technique we ended with was to lock the long end leaving a slight gap at the short end, then using a scrap piece and knock block to hammer the pieces into position. This technique is supposed to be for getting the last piece into position near a wall or in a doorway but we needed it for every piece. As a result, installation took probably three times as long as we were expecting. For installation we give this flooring one star. The three stars overall review reflects the five stars we give the look and feel and the one star for installation. Prior to choosing this flooring, we received several other samples from Build Direct. Examining them later we saw that the locking tongues were, in most cases, longer and had a larger ridge for locking (and seemed to be of firmer material). I suspect these would have installed much easier, but without actually trying, I can't say for sure. All in all we're happy with the flooring but wish it was easier to install.
