The sapwood of red oak is white to light brown, and the heartwood is pinkish- or reddish-brown.Red oak is mostly straight-grained with a coarse texture. This hardwood is heavy with medium bending strength and stiffness and high crushing strength.

    Stunning quality wood! I ordered for overage and breakage and really wasn't necessary! So happy with the quality. I had challenges with the shipping due to a backup with a recent sale the company ran, however, Stephan at BD HQ was super helpful and friendly to make sure it was expedited as quickly as possible.
