BuildDirect is looking for passionate salespeople in Los Angeles with a driven, entrepreneurial mindset. We offer premium flooring to retailers, builders, professional installers and homeowners looking for a better option. This role is handed sales leads on a daily basis and all the tools and training needed to be successful in outside sales. Requires you to hustle and convert leads into ongoing customers.

This is a commissioned sales role, which requires you to visit retailers, builders and contractors in person and show them our product. The role includes a base salary plus a commission for all sales with no limit.

BuildDirect’s office is in Santa Fe Springs and you will report to the Site Operations Manager of that location. You’ll be given a list of potential clients to visit on a daily basis along with handle- and display-boards and a price list to show the customer.  

Qualifications:

·        At least a year of experience selling products face to face.

·        Extrovert who enjoys selling to customers and wants to learn fast.

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·        Preference to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment.

·        Must have a vehicle to get from one location to another daily.

·        Experience in the flooring or building industry is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities:

·        Driving sales of flooring products across Los Angeles to pro installers, builders, contractors and retailers

·        Entrepreneurial mindset: Find and pursue new clients through jobsite visits, business meetings and phone calls. Consistently call on leads and get them to convert

·        Understanding what makes BuildDirect better than other offerings, so you can easily explain it to consumers as well as professionals in the industry.
