Tego (FloorDot) Trowel

Tego FloorDot Trowel – Precision Adhesive Application

The Tego FloorDot Trowel is designed to deliver consistent, controlled adhesive dots for modern floating floor installations. Engineered specifically for use with FloorDot adhesive systems, this specialized trowel helps installers achieve the right bond strength without over-applying adhesive, improving both performance and efficiency on the jobsite. Available in three different finishing patterns.

Designed for Controlled Adhesive Application

This trowel is used to apply adhesive in a precise dot pattern rather than continuous ridges. That pattern allows floating floors to expand and contract naturally while still staying securely bonded where needed. It’s an essential tool when installing LVT, SPC, and other resilient floating floors that require spot-bond adhesion.

Consistent Results You Can Rely On

The FloorDot Trowel is manufactured with a calibrated notch pattern to ensure uniform dot size and spacing. This consistency helps reduce adhesive waste, prevents uneven bonding, and supports long-term floor performance — especially in high-traffic residential and light commercial spaces.

Installer-Friendly Handling

Lightweight and easy to maneuver, the trowel offers smooth glide and predictable coverage. Whether you’re a professional installer or an experienced DIYer, it simplifies adhesive application and helps maintain a steady workflow without constant adjustments.

Ideal Applications

• Floating luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and tile (LVT)
• SPC and rigid core flooring systems
• Installations requiring spot-bond or releasable adhesive methods
• Residential and light commercial projects
